Dear Promenade Families,

It is with immense pleasure and enthusiasm that I introduce myself as the new Principal of Promenade School. As we embark on a new academic year, I am honored to be returning to the Promenade Family and become a part of such a vibrant and engaged community.

At Promenade, we hold firm to the belief that every child is unique, possessing untapped potential waiting to be discovered. As Principal, my primary focus will be to collaborate with the dedicated faculty and staff to create a supportive and intellectually stimulating environment that caters to the unique individual needs of our students. Our goal is not only to prepare them academically, but also to nurture their character, values, and critical thinking skills, empowering them to become responsible and compassionate global citizens.

I strongly believe that education is a partnership between the school, family, and the community. I encourage open communication and active involvement from all parents and guardians. Your insights, suggestions, and support are invaluable to the growth and success of our students and the school as a whole. Together, we can create a strong foundation for your child's future and inspire them to reach their full potential.

Promenade Elementary School

My name is Eric Burris and I am excited to be serving in a new role this year as Promenade’s assistant principal.  Having served as Promenade’s school psychologist for the past three years, I have come to love this community of learners and families. I have over 27 years of educational experience serving students and their families ranging from preschool through high school. I promise to work hard to continue the legacy of success established by building strong relationships with parents, students, and the community. 

Our staff is dedicated to providing a quality education for all our students - one that develops each students' greatest potential while ensuring that they are growing academically, socially and emotionally.  It's our goal to strive to provide students with the best education possible by being student centered, continuing our commitment to high level of expectations, student engagement, academic rigor, and creating a positive climate and culture. 

I look forward to working with you as a team to help each student at Promenade Elementary meet their goals and have a successful and enjoyable school year!
